Yeah its bad.
My GF at the time in HS got pregnant when I was a junior. It made the next few years extremely hard. I still managed to go to college and graduate cum laude. Most of them will do nothing with their lives and they did it on purpose.
I'm partial to the kids who never meant to do it on purpose and it was truly an accident. Condoms do fail unfortunately. But for the kids who do it on purpose stupid kids.
Just another one to support on welfare, social security, etc etc
No I did not take gov handouts for my 'rambunctiousness' I worked 2 jobs and went to college.

It's just a sad reminder of how respect for elders, and ultimately, self respect, is being dropped in the toilet more and more each generation. We can't blame the parents because many try to raise their children right. But then they are exposed to the world at an early age through school, television and now the Internet. Meanwhile the parents are working to provide their young ones a roof over their heads and some, if not all, the luxuries. I wasn't the best behaved kid coming up, but I always thought of what my mother had to go through to raise two boys on her own. That alone kept me in line for the most part. So I worked, stayed away from drugs, alcohol and never been in trouble with the law. I didn't even become a father until I was 29. Too bad not most of today's children think that way.
