Wanted black Whipple supercharger trade for polished.

I have a polished Whipple from roe, looking for a black Whipple or older lynshom. Was told I could not paint or powered coat mine without having issues. Mine has maybe 5000km on it.

I might be able to do something with a trade. I have a 3.3 Lysholm or a 3.4 Whipple that are both black and I also have a black Lysholm 3.3L head unit that has damaged rotors but the case may still be good and could be used to swap your internals to. It doesn't have the drive snout but the other two are complete.

What is the issue with painting it?
