i just saw you in your truck like 2 months ago and this thread is like 7 months old......you have two spare viper engines????

im confused....

please enlighten

I have 2 trucks and 1 has a spun rod. I am putting in a running newly aquired engine in the QC and building up the original spun QC motor over a period of time. Now I can take my time building it right.

Even when you are in a hurry, it takes time. 6 months and waiting here.

I should have my engine next week by this coming Friday (My B Day) or the following Monday. This is going to be a fun project that Mike (AwdIsuzu), Patrick (RedSrt007), and I are going to do. I will be going Turbo.:D

sounds good!!!

Very nice... That engine coming from FLA??? Thought it was from a RC. Or did you go another route?

So you are going to do the transition to a six-speed? If so, be sure to go with a strong clutch...I think even the CenterForce will have problems with the added weight of the QC. You might also want to check with Tremec to be sure the added weight will not be a problem....

Or....

Are you and FstJack talking about a converter to fit the RC bell housing to an automatic?

SrtBrad,

The conversion isn't that big of a challenge (auto/man). Talk to the guys at KRC performance they are doing the mod right now in their shop! The bolt patterns are nearly identical between the two blocks (one bolt/dowel?).
