Last night was not so much about that as it was about starting the process of trouble shooting. If you've read my build post, you know how extensively this thing is modified (hell, even the mods have mods!). I worked for an hour trying to figure out why there was no fuel getting to the rails (figured it out, and it was NOT my fault!). Then once I had fuel pressure, I had to check for leaks (only found one in over a dozen fuel connections). Then I had to tighten the new oil cooler lines (about $7.00 in Mobil synthetic oozed out on the deck). Anyone that's done an engine swap knows the drill.
It just wouldn't make me proud to post that BS.
Besides, right now it kinda sounds crappy. It's not idling very well, and the tune is just a starting point. At least all 10 are firing, but there's LOTS of parameters that need to be tweaked to get it right. Even so, I was sporting wood when it fired off. The whine of the supercharger, and the surge in the idle as the cam turned over was pretty cool.
I PROMISE to post some video once I can kick it over and not have to mess with the throttle just to keep it running.
