Congrats on a beatiful job under the hood! Any luck on getting her to purr? LOL!

There's a possiblity my tuner will be coming up here next weekend. I'm not particularly anxious to tinker with programming for the first time with this engine. I'm a total novice on that part of the build, so I'll delegate that to someone who knows his stuff.

That would be very cool. I'm sure I'd have to do a full cage though, and I'm not thinking about doing that just yet.

Update Please

Took the truck out of service after a crank pulley failure (two part pulley that sheared the pins) that shredded the belt, melted an idler pulley, and generally made a huge mess of things. That's back together, but in the process found that I'm blowing a good deal of oil out of the blow off valve, so I'm integrating a catch can. Also, I'm taking this time to properly plumb the idle air control inlet that I'd just left open to the atmosphere for the time being.

The weather's been shit anyway, so I wouldn't have been able to put many miles on the engine. It will probably be another month or so (weather dependent) before I have enough mileage to think about dyno tune/test stuff.

I shot some video, and bought all the necessary hardware and software to transfer and assemble the footage.

Everything is fine up until I convert the file to a You Tube friendly format, and the video comes out so dark you can barely see it.

I could post it, but it looks like shit. At least you could hear it.
