Warranty Question

I have an extended warranty through Route 66 and I'm planning to buy Ferrari's Roe SC. I called the warranty people and they said if I put on the blower, it will void my warranty. I'm not totally surprised, but is this correct? I thought that unless they could prove a modification directly caused something to break/malfunction, they are required to cover costs (Magnusson Moss Act).

your extended warranty is not covered by the magnusson moss act. they are not the manufacturer of your vehicle. I have seen extended warranties voided over slight tire size difference to cold air intakes. Kiss your extended warranty good-bye with any mods

Call them and cancel your warranty, they will owe you the difference in days remaining on the warranty.

coming from a BMW tech, Extended warranty companys are a joke and waste of money. Cant even tell you how far they will go not cover something
