The Meth on itself will not give you any added HP nor added boost, the advantage is that it will allow a much more aggressive tune by letting you advance the spark by 3 to 6 degrees without risking detonation. Maybe 3 degrees doesn't sound like much, but it is 3 additional degrees of crank rotation the gas mixture will be burning longer for.
When Larry did the dyno tuning, the "safe" card (6 deg retard) was yielding 496 rwhp (stock motor was 402 rwhp on his dyno), with the meth and a race tune (0 degrees) it was making 550 rwhp. That is a difference you can really feel, crazy not to do it for the money.
