You also have 'coffee shops' which give you a bit extra tang in your drinks and brownies!
 
Hey Kyle,

I once was looking at the option of not running the Meth, I didn't want to have to worry about another damn fluid and such.

The Meth on itself will not give you any added HP nor added boost, the advantage is that it will allow a much more aggressive tune by letting you advance the spark by 3 to 6 degrees without risking detonation. Maybe 3 degrees doesn't sound like much, but it is 3 additional degrees of crank rotation the gas mixture will be burning longer for.

When Larry did the dyno tuning, the "safe" card (6 deg retard) was yielding 496 rwhp (stock motor was 402 rwhp on his dyno), with the meth and a race tune (0 degrees) it was making 550 rwhp. That is a difference you can really feel, crazy not to do it for the money.

How is 496 to 550 not an increase in hp:confused: I am going to have joe tune my truck again once I get it installed:rock: I am going to try to get 2 different tunes one with the stock pully and one with about an 8lb pulley:D

What was this SC'r putting out lb wise Mike:confused: So I will no how much smaller to make the pulley;)
 
Kyle, I think the point he is making is that the timing is what produces the hp increase but the Meth makes that timing advance relatively safe.

That's exactly it. It's the tune. Just adding the Meth without tuning for more advance will do nothing.
