I thought I would get an accurate weight of the truck in street trim. It weighed 4720 lbs with 3/8 of a tank of gas and no Aftermarket Fiberglass Bedcover. It had the tailgate, stock wheels and tires and full interior. When I race I remove the tailgate (60 lbs), passenger seat (47.5 lbs), subwoofer (14 lbs), package tray (10.5 lbs) and switch both front and rear tires and wheels saving another 113 lbs. I usually race with 1/4 tank , so I estimate the race weight without me is 4450 lbs. I wish IH8CHEVYS would make me a deal on his DTS rearend so I could save another 100 lbs.:D

hey jerry....... sorry i missed your call.... i doubt i will be makin' it to woodburn any time soon since i've put my truck up for sale..... :(
if you're interested in my 16" nostalgia's, let me know.... i paid $350.00 + shipping recently, make ya a deal. :)

you got me by 200lbs actually 140 because i do not remove my tailgate....and i have no fiberglass on the truck..

Your truck is lighter than most I have seen here....about 200LBs better....hmmm...
I know it's lighter than most...by design...its got some secrets (or not so secret) as most on here know I have fiberglass fenders and a carbon fibre hood along with weight reduction in the bumpers. I have a great body and paint guy who is working with me on weight savings.......and I have a new idea.....more to come:D . I may or may not tell until after I am able to run again at the track:D  Thanks to Justin (ArrestMeRed) I removed the front sway bar (26.5 lbs) and the truck handles just fine so I left it off permanently.:burnout:

Just wondering. how much dose a Qc with a factory bedcover and wing weigh?

Where did you get the fiberglass/carbon fiber parts? Do they fit well? cost? Weigth compared to factory parts?
Give me a minute I will think of more questions...
