I weighed the SRT-10 today in full street trim, 3/8 tank fuel and minus the aftermarket bed cover. 4630 lbs without me in it. Next Monday I will weigh the truck after racing on Sunday at the last Test & Tune of the season at Famoso. Race weight should be under the last time I weighed, because I have replaced the factory hydraulic fan, factory overflow bottle, the upper Volant scoop. Last race weight was 4170 lbs.

Good information. Thanks, Jerry! I need to review your weight loss mods to see how you got it down to 4600.

Spare Tire, jack, spare tire carrier, rear hitch between the frame cut out, most metal in front and rear bumper, front sway bar, fiberglass fenders, carbon fiber hood, factory plastic bedliner, that's it!

On race day....I remove the following : factory doors, replace with race doors made from2003 Ram work truck, gutted with Lexan windows ( takes 12 minutes, saves 180-200 lbs), tailgate (60lbs), front wheels (88 lbs each, total 176 lbs), rear wheels ( 90 lbs each, 325-40-22 Kumho tires, total 180 lbs), subwoofer 14.5 lbs, package tray 10 lbs, passenger seat (manual) 47 lbs, windshield wipers (?lbs), floor mats (? lbs), drivers power seat, console ,armrest and amp (92 lbs). Add back Bogarts and tires in front @ 45 lbs each (90 lbs total), Bogarts and slicks with tubes @ 43 lbs each , aluminum race seat with manual factory steel base @ 30 lbs, and the plexiglass grill shield , about 2 lbs.

Should get rid of all the metal in the bumpers, mine is down to 4580 street weight with a little over a 1/4 tank of fuel

I just added some more items to my list. How much did the bed liner weigh? I was thinking about taking mine out but then I can't use the truck the way I do now.

Why not, its a truck it'll be ok with dents and scratches in the bed:D

45 lbs, hooks and brackets another 3 lbs. I had a thin coat of sray-in liner applied to protect the bed.

Great idea! I didn't realize I could cut almost 50 lbs by doing that!!

I'm surprised none of us have seriously considered looking for a lighter set of wheels for the street...
