Paul, those cracks could be vibration problems...or poor welds or a host of other things...just be sure to look closely at your engine mounts...

Tear it all the way down...if it takes a year build from a striped block that has been magnafluxed...new journals...crank, cam, rods, pistons, everything...then once it is together...it is your build...not a Hennessey build waiting for the worst to happen...build for 1200 hp, run 8 or 9 hundred. Then drive it like you stole it.
