I figure I better just get this outta the way now, Have sold my baby, my dream. Another member here has purchased her from me and we are on the final details now. As for me I just want to thank you all for the great times on this forum. I will not be around much anymore due to how devastated and upset this forced sale has made me. It nothing to do with anyone on here, I just dont want to see another viper truck for a long time due to how hard I worked to reach this and to lose it, all to soon. Im going to focus on other things right now as this has really hit me hard. I tried every possible way not to get to this and sadly had no options left. Please do me a favor all: keep the light on, maybe some day I might get lucky again and have my dream back. Until then I cant stomach looking at all of your beautiful trucks for a while.

To me this was not my toy but a symbol of hard work and dedication I went for, with that being shattered my pride has suffered a fatal blow not easily healed. My dream is still alive but to ever attain it again is going to be close to impossible anytime soon especially with my current future ahead of me and everything else involved. Thank you all and I just wanted to say good bye for now cause I cant bare to be here for now.:(

A few special good byes for those who know who you are............

Lordy have mercy...... The man took it hard..... Been there....

Good luck, Mike.... God bless.....

Stay close and in touch..... You've become a fixture round here......

Geeze Mike, I really hate to learn of this. Even worse, you're not being around for a while. I do hope you drop in from time to time. Remember, this place isn't strictly about the trucks, it's about family. You will be missed.:(

You have my number and you know where the house is...the door is always open.

For my friend Mike...I went on Vacation but I have been stalking the forum and I saw this...I will miss you my friend. I am sooo sorry about your loss, I understand your pain. It's a hard cold world but its not the end....just give it some time...I hope you find your happiness again!:(

Mike, Please don't give up on us, many of us may be joining you shortly. This is still your home. No one can control what is happening in these economic times.

Shoot man, I feel your pain :( I had to let my SRT go waaaaay too soon after I got her... Failing job and company, loss of income, and drastic change of lifestyle. Hurts like heck! I, too, hope for the day of owning another one of these special trucks, but to be honest, I'm not sure it'll happen again :( Yes, there are faaar more important matters to be concerned with these days, but it's still very tough to have had this kind of truck in your possession and have to let it go against your desires...
Try and hang in there bro. No need to abandon this great site though? It will help you cope somewhat... Does for me anyhow.

I'm sorry to hear this Mike, but do make sure you check in and say hi. Just because you no longer have a truck doesn't mean we are no longer friends.

Bill.

Hi all,
l'm the guilty party that has purchased Mike's ride. l've spoken with Mike several times over the last month or so obviously, and understand his situation. l also relayed to him several times and in several ways that l had mixed feelings about buying the truck, because l knew he really wanted to keep it and try to work through his situation. l'm sure no one will bear ill will towards me, as it's quite obvious Mike has been an integral member of the VTCOA, and l only hope his pain dissipates quickly and he can resume trolling the boards and posting to all of his friends. l work an awful lot, and will never be able to post as much as he, however, l'll be full of questions, and as time progresses, maybe l can start offering useful input to others. One word of mention, please don't label me as having money; l don't. l have bought an extremely nice truck, yes, but it did come at a extremely signifigant and personal cost to me. l do work two fulltime jobs, and am married with 3 young girls. Anyone else living in NY will empathize will me knowing what the taxes are here. l would have left long ago if l'd realized how expensive it is here, however l work for a civil service job, and would lose all my retirement time and all that if l left now.
on the other hand, still waiting for truck to be delivered, so hopefully Saturday, l hear... BG

Most people here could care less how much money you have... don't let that be an issue. Lord knows there are a LOT of us who are lucky to still have the proverbial "pot to piss in".

Glad to see you post up about being the buyer! Congratulations!! Sorry for Mike's loss, but I am sure you will enjoy it immensely!

Good luck with the delivery. And tell Mike we miss him!

Welcome, treat your truck right and it will treat you right.

Bill.
