Went to the track last night

Went to Moroso last night only got 2 runs in. Man its hard to get this thing to launch right. Ran on street tires with 33 lbs of air. Switched back to the stock shifter, and no Cal Tracs. My 60' times were crappy best was a 2.2 best time 13.061 1/4 mile
trap speed 110 mph

Don,t sweat it,
I run about 27 psi in the rears at the track.Practice your launch (rpm/slipping the clutch) and your times will drop!!!
I,d like to set up a date when we can all meet at moroso!
As a side note,Bradenton and Orlando is about 3 tenths quicker than moroso,So technically,you ran a twelve!!!!:rock:

This was a last minute impluse decission. I gotta get in some track time if I wanna be even close to your time. Launch, launch, launch is the key. I also need to do some bottom end tuning she coming off the line really sluggish, but then runs like a raped ape when she gets into boost.

I'm talking with the spousal unit to see if she wants to ride up with me.

Trap speed is good.:rock: With a better launch and 60' time you will def be in the mid to high 12's. :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

I run 18 to 20 psi in the rear tires, depending on the track prep. Lower that pressure for better 60's.:burnout:

Slipping is bad.........unless you want to buy a new setup. BTDT!

Thats not really a bad time at all.........like others have said, your mid 12's with a good sixty.............I imagine the air it was quite hot too.

I know how you feel...I went to Bristol Thunder valley yesterday and all I could muster was a 13.2.....everybody liked the tire smoke though....
