amazing weather, great prep. the prep sucked then a BRAND NEW z06 EXPLODED. nitrous blew the motor, then the bottle exploded. THEN THE TANK. after all that they let the people return to the track and had to reprep it. my times were amazing after. check the timeslips page. look under mine at gentlebens 1/8 speed versus mine. shows how much a 4:10 pulls harder at higher speeds versus the 4:56 rear and the tranny gearing differance! great night and smoked a soon to be new member in a qc. now all i need is my hairdryer to be finished and ill be happier than i pig in (well you know) :rock:

the driver is fine. got out imediately. a month prior he did the same thing to a new gt-500, and last year it was a hemi. he is used to having to run fast (on foot)

4.10s are just as good, IMHO.

I raced 4.10 truck against 4.56 last spring with almost identical mods.

4.56 truck pulled a fender in the 1/8 mile and 4.10 truck reeled it back in the second half of the 1/4.

the 4:10's are better after the 1/8 by far. on the highway i walk a 05/06 rc due to being able to hold the gears a lot longer. it just takes a little longer to wind up first and second gear, but once in third watch out
