Some of us dont like the A/C performance of our trucks why not program the compressor to engage the clutch longer?
Right now when it engages it only stays engaged for about 10 seconds then disengages.

Just a thought.

I don't have any issues with my A/C. Works great. Sounds like you might be low on freon. I haven't seen that on other trucks. Have you done an A/C service lately?

The A/C on both the R/C and Q/C blow ice cubes.

Mine was OK, then had it flushed / refilled my the dealer and it was cold as ice

The compressor clutch cycles to prevent the evaporater from icing up. ONce that happens, the ice blocks air flow, and you get no cooling.

if you live in phoenix, it won't ice up. :-D mine's pretty cold now that the dealer recharged it.

I believe a full system is about 1.8 if you have it checked.

Mine is pretty cold as well now that I had it charged and put a nice electric fan on the condensor, but it was just a thought to those people out there that did have it charged and it was still lacking.
