what clutch are you guys putting in after our stock clutch goes out?

so as yall have seen , i have been doing my fare share of racing. on my last 3 races i have smelled my clutch, not bad but i do smell it. Does this mean i will have to replace it soon or do you think i have still got a few miles to go? The clutch peddle still feels the same as it did when i got the truck, it now has 10,000 miles on it.

Probably dont need a clutch today but would guess it doesnt have much life left. As soon as its starts slipping at WOT you should place your order


Most folks are going with the Centerforce clutch, Fidenza aluminum flywheel, Viper Master/Slave upgrade kit.

Its good for 750hp and the master/slave is a must kit for most RC owners anyway

Its around $1500 from X-Metal or Roe Racing.

You can also upgrade the slave and master cylinder units fromthose from a viper.

but if ya do this, the slave and master cylinder needs shimming.

Got the same setup. Huge huge difference from the stocker. A couple of hard lauches with any slippage of the clutch will burn out the stocker real fast!! Mine was toast about 3k miles.

i just talked to the guy who will be putting it in, and he wants me to go with a "spec" clutch. have yall heard of these people. i went on there site but seen nothing for the ram srt 10 only the viper? Is it the same clutch that goes in the viper?

Centerforce has been proven, you won't be disapointed!!

I dont think the spec would hold up as good as the centerforce, but thats a personal opinion.
