What is MY truck worth?

Thanks for all your advice, options, and concerns. I appreciate it for sure. It looks like we are going to be able to sort everything out as planned, as long as the damn lawyers don't convince her to go after more. My lawyers writing a proposal this week, hopefully it all works out as planned.

I can't wait until this shit is over with. So far we have been able to figure it out between ourselves and I have the ability to buy her half of everything out. I couldn't imagine people that can't talk to one another and have to do it all through lawyers, and/or the people that have to sell everything off to be able to afford a split.

I'll play the devils advocate here. If you value your truck at "trade in" or "cash" value, she may do the same with the trailer. If you tried to get a dealership to buy that trailer back, they are probably going to offer you 23k-24k for it, even though it's brand new. How much cash is she looking for?

This is something that I have had on my mind for sure, I know that the trailer has probably lost 10k easy, but I just needed to know and be able to show her that my trucks not worth the 40-50k that she thinks. Fortunately I didn't have to show her this thread.

Overall she wants 260k for her to be happy. 40k will go to tax and she will put 220k in her pocket. She walked into my life 7 years ago with her tooth brush, some clothes, and a POS Mazda car.

I would tell her if you think the truck is worth $35K you take the truck. She won't want the truck so you can get for less.
