What is this switch? -Answered-

If you can't tell, it is located under the dash, about where your right knee would be while driving. It is a red toggle switch. Either they did a great job at the wiring or it is an OEM switch. I looked all through the manual and couldn't figure it out. It is powered directly from the battery, with an inline fuse. It has about 5 wires leaving from it. (including power) There are a couple small wires going towards the door sill, under the dash. Fuse panel area for some cars. I can't trace them any further than that. Anybody have any ideas before I start ripping further in to trace? Thanks!

driver eject button, in case of getting beat by a lightning, you hit the switch and get out of the truck so no one knows its y ou

Does anything happen when you switch it ??? Sirens , Lights , bat mobile gizmo's..... Must go somewhere if it is wired still?

That looks similar to the electric cutouts switch I have in my other truck. Is it a two way switch or just on/off.

If it's just on/off could be for so many things aftermarket lights, nitrous arming, DVD park brake override switch...

Not that I can tell....I am wondering if it was hooked up to underglow or something. Wasn't sure if it was a factory thing or not. Just seems like a lot of wires just for underglow. Can't think what else it may be though.

Thanks guys.....I figured it out after finding one wire to trace a little easier. The wire routed through my door sill trim and ended (was cut) near the back seat. I am guessing an amp. Either way, it is no longer in use so I can remove the wires. Thanks again guys!

keep it for an Arkansas brake light switch:D
