NEW BLOCKS NOW??? every damm time i think about buying a lowering kit for my truck someone says something is better, or this guy's kit is hard to install, or it dosn't fit right, dammmmm i just want to lower my truck the right way, and have it perform as close to stock as it can get. WHO IS HAPPY WITH THEIR DROP KIT AND WHERE DID THEY GET IT?:dontknow: PLEASE SHARE FELLAS.:)

I like mine and have had it for over 2 years:rock: I got it from x-metal all thats left of that is the front springs:D I ordered some 4'' lowering blocks and simply cut them to my desired length:rock:

IMO if I my truck was stock now and I wanted to lower it I would go with the stink man's kit hands down;)

yeah, i talked to tony yesterday (great guy) and i liked the way his kit sounded so far, just wanted more input.-thanks

There's not really much to lowering one of these trucks. I really don't understand what all the hype is about:dontknow: :dontknow: Coil springs and lowering blocks. The only trouble would be getting the right spring rate for the front and I believe Tony has figured that out:rock:

kyle, read the LOWERING BLOCK thread fued going on right now, thats the kind of crap i am referring to, i agree with you dude, not too much to lower a truck, but the way this dude makes it sound, is that every other venders products (blocks) suck for our rc's.

You don't have to believe everything you read:p Honestly how could you screw up a lowering block:confused: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Seems as tho my so Kit has been so called "the same as all out there" well I will only say this one time as honestly it is not woth the time of going over time after time;)

I have done mainly suspension for probably 15 years or more, and that was it mainly suspension, with about the same time spent racing motorcycles , so suspension is one thing I do know alot about. So when those people can look at a vehicle, make adjsutments with no machine, and it come out perfect, then they can come and talk with me:p

So unlike the people that are trying to thro my kit into every other kit out there, I do care, Just ask amtrucker22, griffsrt, or spjrdc. And Carl I havent gotten back with you yet, as you will notice, I spent most of yesterday working on my engine, I havent forgotten you sir:p

Also it has come up that some of the trucks are unlevel after lowering, well the fact is nobody puts a tape measure on there truck untill after its lowered;)

if you put a spring or block that lowers the front or rear the "exact same amount" on both side, then it is unlevel ? , then naturally it must have been unlevel before it was lowered.;)

I talked with many that will bump up an tell ya, theres is unlevel bone stock, most do come that way factory, but I have also gone back and for no charge either cut blocks or helped them in some way to get it the way they want, sometimes several times until they are happy:)

as far as solid blocks and being correct, well that dont take an engineer to do;) its a very simple deal, ITS A FREAKING BLOCK! DUH!:D
Really how many ways can you do it?LOLOLOL Maybe the unhappy person that dont like my "kit" or others should call eibach, ground force, or DJM and discuss with them about designing all there blocks since thousand of kits out there are wrong:p

but if ya'll want SOLID BILLET BLOCKS FOR THE REAR I can check on them, as I think they can probably be had for around $60 or so ,not $2-$500;) but I never went that route as to keep YOUR cost down, so that anyone could afford a lowering kit:rock: I have allready had to go up on mine due to the rise in increase in steel parts, my price on u bolts alone have trippled:argh:

And as far as the member that started the thread last night, c'mon it was just a straight out thread pointed at me;) and my kit , that was obvious, but thats ok:D I have too many other problems to worry about than someone bashing my kit, and offering so called correct blocks for $500;)

The one thing I PROMISED when I started as a vendor is to do WHATEVER you guys wanted, and to be here , be it 3am , or 10 am, unlike other vendors we have had. And to help in any way, and so far I think I have upheld that promise:rock:

And Tone bo, it was good to talk with ya sir:)

Thats all ,will be back later to answer questions, momma just got home and I am taking my Little lady to lunch:D

oooppss:p one more thing, the exact same blocks I sell, I use in my own truck with 1000hp and have been in there for 3 years now, and ask a few around , my truck gets thrashed and mostly at the drag strip:D

and have had not one problem from them:)

and something came up about profit, I offer a leveling kit, and I am going to be absolutly honest here for all those to see. On my leveling kit it runs $70 and I make EXACTLY $5.43 off of them, sometimes if I screw up shipping , I loose that:p such as on a can of a paint the other day!LOOLOLOL

by all:marchmellow: :marchmellow: my belly needs filling:D

Tony- it was NOT directed at you.
It's unfortunate that yours are the same as all the others out there, but it WAS NOT DIRECTED AT YOU.

You damn well know that.

You've known me for years and have all of my contact info.
Didn't hear my cell ring or my email ding.

Also, the blocks I am talking about are NOT $500/pr.
Take that back.

I have called all those people you listed, and yes- all their kits for SRT-10 RC's are incorrect for the rears.

And who said I was unhappy?

Sorry Kevin I dont have the time to sit here and dabble over nonsense, I have no problem with selling those blocks or anything else, but I did my homework when I designed my kit, and it works fine,
and you did highlight the word ALL;)

Now like I said my belly is hungry:D

tone, i would just deal with stinker if i we're you, i ordered caltracs and 2" blocks from him a while back and anything i had a question about he answered very quickly and i got my parts ASAP, on goof(spelling?) was i recived the tracking info for something ironhead bought i belive and though my parts were in houston:D but stink was on top of it and got it fixed

Yeah Tone, I would go with the stinky kit. Mine is from X-Metal only because I didn't know Tony was doing lowering kits when I got mine over a year ago AND I bought mine for really cheap. If I had the chance to do it all again I would let Tony lower me baby.. mmmmmm
