Hpuston meeting
Walt,
I am sorry that you wil not get to Houston for the meeting.
I understand that you have commitments and priorities that require your immediate attention.
I am not sure about how productive this will be regarding our recognition or affiliation with Dodge. I have my doubts that they will want to associate with or recognize an organization for a vehicle that is no longer in production. Dodge has only "blessed" one vehicle that they have ever made, the Viper car, with regards to factory "club" status. All the various clubs or groups for Dodge vehicles are independant and not connected with or recognized by the factory. What comes to mind is the Prowler, and it's non official status. If this does happen I will personally be pleasantly surprised.
We can meet each other and exchange ideas regarding the direction that we want to go with an organization. We have a tremendous sense of family that continues to grow in numbers and continuity.
I do strongly believe that we will be on our own with regards to official recognition and help from Dodge.
I hope that everyone that is signed up, can and will attend. We need input from everyone on this matter.
I have talked to Dave (Roktman) and OCBob and Bob will have a number that I and others with a speaker/cell phone will use. Bob will set up a conferance call so that those that cannot attend personally can dial in and be on a conferance call to hear what is gonig on and give input. I hope this works as I would like as much input as we can get from all our members.
I am sure that we can continue to grow and have fun no matter what happens.
