what's my s/c truck with issues worth?

Aloha....

The good:

Black 05 single cab, headers, new paxton s/c kit, magnaflow, Denali 22's,
18 k miles, new southbend clutch, runs and drives.

The bad:

Engine knocking and #6 cylinder compression low 150lbs.
Started knocking due to lean fuel (only 1 fuel pump working).

Either I rebuild the bottom end or put it up at no reserve on e-bay.

Well since the shop damaged your engine you make them rebuild it.. not you.. sue them for the damage.

Yeah, sell the blower separate...you wont get anymore for the truck with it on.....most will get for a truck with internal engine trouble is $10-15K.....you would probably come out ahead fixing it then selling..

fix the engine bro. it is not as complicated as it made to appear. order up some diamond pistons and rods while ur at it and then find a good hi perf builder on the island. Work closely with him and find out what kind of motors he has built. This motor is really not that more different a chevy V8.

1) Rebuild to stock
2) Build for power
3) Sell the blower (PM me ) and sell the truck seperately

Sell the blower setup.

Use the money to go forged and rebuild your engine rock solid. Get another blower down the line when you have the money.

Don't sell it, you are gonna get ass raped with it not running right.

ok....
Decided to pull the engine, Lyle at DC will fix me up with whatever parts I need.

At this point I'm leaning towards selling the Paxton setup and going back to stock. I think I can get $4000 for the s/c kit as I have the service invoice from Paxton and Split-Second for the new ECU box.

The old ECU is what caused the problem, software went south and fuel pumps weren't working right. 505 hp is enough for me.

I would definately talk to the shop about paying for the motor! that was f'ed up!!


if you do decide to sell the blower, don't sell that kit for less than $4k, especially if it's polished. it's worth $8400 new(polished).
and if someone wants to but a split second box and fuel system I will have one for sale soon!
