What's racism and what is NOT:

God gives us free will. All I can do is be obedient to what God calls me to do.!

The subject of free will is not being debated. And I agree that we should be obediant to God.... But you've sidestepped the issue.

And to answer your question...I would feel much worse if she was kidnapped and brutally raped and murdered...which has happen to people. It is all in how you look at things. Any day I get to spend with my girls is a great day for me!

You actually didn't answer the question at all. You merely stated how much worse you'd feel under an extremely different scenario. You have (once again) conveniently attempted to avoid a direct answer by supplanting platitudes ....

Brother, if you don't wish to answer the question just say so.... But your avoidence of a direct answer speaks volumes....

I think if one picks sufficiently close enough to (the right spot on) any individual (that) they'll eventually find an "ouch"......

As a devout Christian, how would you like it if your daughter fell in love with a Muslim and (she) wanted to convert to Islam.....?

Welcome to the party...........;)

If you are refering to being racist to a Muslim or someone of the Islam faith, no I do not have a problem with them.
My daughter has her decisions to make, if she converted to be a Muslim the that would be her choice and I would continue to pray for her. Most Muslim or Islamic people are peaceful. I would be very disturbed if she was a radical that believed in the persucution of inocent life. To answer your question, which has no regards to racism, I would feel disapointed that she doesn't share my views on Jesus Christ, but I would not hate her, I would love her and her husband and hopefully through my life show them why JC is the way.

My original quote was refering to racism, when I said love all & have thick enough skin to realize when someone degrades you you can choose to ingnore them and there ingnorance.
You question wasn't really regarding racism as much as it was to try to force me into what you thought would be a tough question to answer. I have answered it, but like I said love all & have thick skin:D

The subject of racism, "ethnic purity" and the so called "false religions" of other cultures is all very closely related. It matters not whether one's issues are with whites, blacks, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Catholics, Hindu, Buddhists, Shinto, Taoist or some schmuck who thinks that Nacho Flavored Doritos are the True and Living God.

I have problems with groups who strive to worship the doctrines of blackness vs: whiteness, Jehovah vs: Allah, Jesus vs; Mohammed or anything of that ilk. And it is the practice of "doctrine worship" that I'm trying to expose. It matters not whether it is religious in the conventional sense or simply the sin of worshipping at the false idol of one's self...... They are all interconnected.. The religion that avoids esteeming others over one's self..... or holding one's religion over that of others, one's color or manner of living over that of another..... It is (simply) the sin of selfishness....

Thanks for answering the question.... I really have no bone to pick with you, bro'.. I act this way towards all my Christian brothers and sisters.... They can be very unaccepting and isolationist sometimes.... I just wanted to see what you're made of.....

God bless....

It is not my authority to judge one for there life or religious views. I have friends from all walks of life and I have only been a Christian for 3 years, by judging I would be shooting myself in the foot, and be another hypocritical Christian (which the world doesn't need).

I actually took more offense to the last line in the a few posts back where you said "welcome to the party...and then added the wink face). I felt that was more of just trying to start an arguement. But i know that you are a fair man and that it is difficult to understand words through the interent. Tim, I always wish you and everyone on this forum the best. The Bible says build others up according to there needs. and it also says in himility consider others better than yourself.
that is how I try to live!

The words "dego" (Day'-go) "wop", "greaseball", "guinea" and others are all slang terms used in a derogatory manner towards Italians.......... They are also used as terms of endearment, depending on the tone of delivery and the motive behind it ;)

There was no need to take offense at my welcoming you to the party..... ;) Like I said, I was merely trying to engage you as a man and as a Christian and see what kind of stuff you're made of. "...... iron sharpens iron", my friend.

I know by reading your words that you're a man of peace...... For that, you have my great respect...... No horseshit .....:congrats:
