So I have had my srt for a month now, and I'd like to get a nice low stance to her. Probably a 2"/4" drop so it sits good on the tires. Iv heard horror stories about lowering the SRT's because of the suspension, etc. I see a lot of you guys have your stuff lowered, so I wanted to know how ya's did it and if it effected your ride in ANYWAY.

THanks

Hey Bud,

At the risk of sounding like I've got my head buried up BOOMERs butt, I'm gonna say that BOOMERs lowering kit is the ONLY lowering kit that has the complete endorsement of this Forum.... I'm not trying to speak for anyone else here. And I'm not any kinda big shot here....

But I have seen quite a few disappointments and handling problems with other lowering kits.... I even admit that before I knew BOOMER I did make that mistake myself.... I got someone else's rear end only lowering kit. It made my truck handle like a suicide machine.....

BOOMERs front and rear kit incorporates all the most correct geometry for our trucks. Mine handles so much better now... and they make yer truck look great. In fact BOOMER has a special right now on a combo shifter/lowering kit that is outa site.....

You can't go wrong with BOOMERS stuff..... It is top shelf quality all the way....

Take it from a retired rockstar.........BOOMERs shit IS the shit........Buy it....

I and a lot of others have the X-Metal kit. Very little if any ride difference, maybe just a tad rougher. Total improvement in handling. You have to be careful when parking because the front spoiler might hit the curb. My front tire scraped on the inner fender once when I hit a big dip in the road traveling at 65. Vehicle is a lot easier to enter and exit. I have the 1/2 drop. X-Metal is a site sponsor. If I had to do it over again, lowering it would be the first thing I did.

I don't know anymore........ But I do remember him offering some great prices recently. He'd have to speak for himself on that one...

If you have a RC you can`t drop it 2/4,it will hit the bump stops.1.5 /3 will give the lowered agressive stance that you want.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but Boomer has a nice kit to lower our trucks.;) :p :D

Okay, time to be serious. There are some cheaper kits out there for sale, and that's exactly what they are. Cheap. Go to the Vendor forums and then to X-Metal, that's Boomers forum. There is a thread there with pictures about a another lowering kit. If that does not convince you to go with Boomers kit, nothing will.

i would say go with boomers, i bought a different one from another member and it works greak but like everyone else says the quality of boomers stuf is way better than the others. i took my off a month ago to pull my boat this summer, but re lowered it yesterday for the nats.

Call Boomer! Don't stop, don't think about it, and don't pick your nose (J/K you can pick your nose) call Boomer!

Bill.

I dont want to get a rougher ride, or get close to those bump stops! I had a friend do a 2/4 on an srt, and all you have to do is replace those stops with smaller ones. Mopar actually makes them. But, I hate to mess with it. I just like that "squat" muscle look. thanks fellas, ill let you know what route I go.

Boomers kit comes with new stops. Problem solved.

BOOMER would be my suggestion as well!:D
