Possible one of the pads is loose or not letting go? clip broken, greasing problem somewhere....

Did you inspect all sides?

If it was a bearing, wouldn't you notice change in sound turning at 10-40mph?

Does the center of your rim get hot after driving it when it squeels like that?

That's one thing I forgot to do after driving it last. Now I don't want to take it out because it sounds like shit! When I had the wheel off everything seems okay, little bit of drag and slight 'grinding' sound when spinning the rotor but thought that was just from the pads rubbing slightly. I'll go jack the whole front up and see if it's the same on both sides. It's a different sound at different speeds. On the highway you can't hear a thing...

Grab the top of the wheel and pull and push it to see if you get any play in it.

Ha, just jacked the front up. Lots of play in the front right tire... and doesnt spin nearly as easy as the left side.

someone just posted up bout wheel bearins/hub.

found them cheap at RockAuto i believe. with ABS sensor

Well i have third party warrenty... but no one will tell me if a bearing is covered or not. Got quoted 400 bucks from the stealership. I doubt it would be covered.

And how does a wheel bearing screw up after 12,000 miles??

my thoughts on early wheel bearin failure on our trucks is that it did not get enough grease, air bubble/ ran out at times, or maybe too tight a fit when assembled

next question is is the '06 the same as the '04 & '05s????

by RockAuto there is a difference in the '04-'05 to '06

it is a Timken# SP500101 for the '06 & SP500100 for '05. complete hub with ABS sensor.

'06 cheaper also:(

thats good news for me!!

My $0.02 is they are undersized for the job at hand with the large wheels and cornering forces we generate. :(:(:(:(

yep. probably the biggest factor.

better check/replace mine quick then:marchmellow::marchmellow:

My theory is that they are undersized, allowing slight deflection under load. That deflection exceeds the seal's tolerance, allowing lubricant to escape. As lubricant escapes, the rollers deflect more, allowing more lube to escape, repeat until failure. :(
