I do not race at all but thought maybe if there is an available bolt on kit out there somewhere that this would be a very tough looking mod. Any thoughts or suggestions or is this just a dumb idea.

Planning on adding 1500rwhp and dropping 500lbs anytime in the near future :dontknow: :D

Or you are just asking about a kit for looks and no real practical purpose ?

Figure you would have to fab up something but shouldnt be too hard to take a kit and install it for looks.

You could be the first ;)

Just my .02 is I would not do it on a street car ,well unless you need them plus may not pass the Man's scrutiny and I bet they would get run into in a parking lot . If you mount them high enough to clear dips and driveways they may punch the guy coming up behind you at the red light if he didnt see um

...I have a dumb question.
What are the chances of getting on of our trucks to pull a wheelie? 1500rwhp? What if just for the purpose of taking a picture you weighted the back(behind the rear axle)?

First let me say racers tend to make jokes about vehicles that have wheelie bars but cannot use them. Do they look bad-ass? Yes. But to get one of these trucks to not only pick the front end up, but pick it up high enough to need wheelie bars would take lots and lots of horsepower, and lots of traction.

look at pic almost there with only 650rwhp:D

Go with Cal tracs...they will leave the same impression but also help you to hook up!

Sometimes it is better to send a small signal that will be detected by the knowledgeable, rather than an obvious sign that will be seen as ostentatious by those who know.

to late fella's I orderd a set form Summit racing and should have them in a few days. I will post pics when I bolt them up.

willie bars with street tires:stupido2:

willie bars for just looks:thumpdown:

but thats just my dumbass opion

if you like it go for it

I had 700 to the wheels, dropping the hammer @5-6k and he front end almost came up, but still never left the ground. I would say pass since there not needed...yet at least :D

Lifting the front tires off the ground is one thing, getting the front end up high enough to need wheelie bars is a whole different thing all together.

He has said he is doing it for looks not function. If you want to paint your truck green, purple, orange and black that is your deal. Whatever works for you.

Generally, wheelie bars don't look that good without being on a tubbed vehicle. I doubt if you would be happy with the results.

P.S. Are you gonna drive around with em?

Wheelie bars on a car/truck that don't need them are just comical.

I have them but will not run them on the street.............
