Where can I find the differences between the 04,05,06

I know there were some changes each year.
Is there a good read somewhere to help me choose wisely??

'04 only came in RC's. '05 and '06 had both RC's and QC's. '04 and '05 have the same look and interior, and I like them the best. The '06 has its own front end and interior. '04 came with 4.10 rear end, and '05 and '06 have 4.56 gears. Half way through '05 the trucks came with bed covers and a different wing. The '04 has two piston front brakes and he '05 and '06's have 4 piston. The '06 has a different frame and A arms. There are other minor differences that you'll hear about. Just keep asking questions and someone will let you know.

Sleeper said it quite well.

If you buy an 04, unless you plan to SC the 4.10 gears suck. With that being said, purchasing an 05 has an upgrade in it all ready with the 4.56 gears. 06 has cosmetic changes which you either like or dont like.

I think another difference is the fuel tank was increased from 26 gallons to 34 gallons for 2006

Correct that...the quad cab for 2006 is 34 gallons, though the shop manual refers to it as 35 gallons.. The regular cab remains 26 gallons. Since I only get about 250 miles per tank in my 2005, that is probably the main thing I prefer about the 2006.

Specific front brake calipers - different than 05^.
No resonator in exhaust

Upgraded PCV system

Added resonator

2006
RC & QC
06 has specific colors (only available in 06)
Different frame/ front suspension
Different front end
Different interior - also added seat heaters and better storage
Tonneau became standard
Clutch hydraulics improved (I think - mine are significantly different than 04 and 05)
06's are fast as shit

The '06's were a flop do to the terrible interiors.
