Good to see the thread turn the corner. 1Fast400 (Mike) is a generous person who has made significant contributions to mod developments and forum members. Most of this had been outside the spotlight of the forum and therefore goes primarily unnoticed.

Too many times on this forum, members jump on bandwagons and take sides in arguments they have no business chiming in on.

Would also like to know, why is it ok, if you have more money than someone else, you all of a sudden shouldn't mind losing a couple of grand. That's bullshit.

I don't believe it has as much to do with the money as the principle of it. If Mike was really worried about the money he would of asked for payment first.

The deal was for blake to accept the rearend I sent him, pull his out and send it back to me. I had a crate built to house the one he was going to send back. He literally just had to drop it in there. Had a return pickup and everything setup. He paid the me the cash that was owed, he just didn't send the rear. He had an issue with his rims fitting. He never mentioned having aftermarket rims on his truck. We built the rear to work with a STOCK rim. After talking with him, we asked him to overnight the lugnuts to us and we'd fix them so everything would work. Never got anything. Through numerous contact attempts all I've gotten back is that blake put his stock rear back in the truck so he can maintain his aftermarket rims, therefor he can't send me the rearend. I have no idea if this is the case or not. All I know is I'm out a housing, brakes, carrier and axles. The last contact I had was two months ago.

Everybody has "personal" things that go on. At some point in our lives we've all been put in bad positions due to circumstances beyond our control. I don't believe that gives one a free pass renege on their obligations. Just my ahole .02

When your income is in the six-figure range,$1500 would represent less than 2% of your income.I have lost 10-15% of my little income and didn't make a big deal of it.And I actually work for a living.Damn hard work,not shuffling papers and making business deals,so if anyone should be entitled to cry over being screwed over, it would be me and I am not making a deal of it.
If he in the end he does get screwed,he has a legitimate complaint .But to cry over a measly $1500,that's the real bullshit.;)
 
Whether it's $1500 or $1.50. If I didn't get what I paid for, it pisses me off.
 
This is what has made me be so very carefull with everyones money on the axle group buy.

But not defending anyone, but I am pretty sure Blake willl make things good, and if he comes outand tells everyone what he is going thru , I also think most will understand.

I cant and want say anymore, I respect both of these guys, and well I would have done things differently, but then again thats me , I am not them:D

Well,I guess it would anybody.I sometimes just get into an argumentative mood.Even when I know I will lose.I am taking some pretty strong steroids for medical problems and it only makes me worse.I honestly mean no offense ;) :D

I wasn't throwing stones at anyone or taking sides. I've got no horse in this race. Just stating an opinion and we all know about them.

Well since $1,500 is bullshit if its less than 2% of your income, can you please post the acceptable $ and or percentage amounts to bitch about ? I am sure all of us could use this in the future. I am sure Mike didnt get the memo.

BTW, can everyone please post their annual household income ?

Anyone that makes 6 figures+ will tell you, you end up spending most of your time trying to figure out how to hold onto your own money. We live in a society that penalizes people for being successful. You gotta love a society that penalizes someone willing to take all the risks with starting a new company and then when the few get to make it work sell, the gov't is standing there waiting.

I hope during my lifetime, I see a flat tax.
