where you put line lock switches?

need a few pics of the different places to install line lock switch? and what would be the problem with installing a button that will only hold while i hold the button and if i let go it does too? then there is no "oops i left the switch on"????

See the red button on the handle....works just like you said....push brake then push button and hold.... release brake pedal and front brakes hold until you release the red button..

A momentary button is what you want, do not use any kind of on/off switch.

I don't see any reason why not to.

You can't damage anything, and even if you don't have an indicating light you sure as hell know if it's on. If you can manage to forget you've activated the line lock, you may not have enough of an attention span to last for a quarter mile run either (especially you old bastards).

Here's an interesting idea. How about using a timer actuated relay? Hit the momentary button, and the timer starts when you dump the clutch (and/or release the brake).

I'd think (especially for bracket racing) you could set just the right amount of time in the box, and get consistent tire temps every time at bat.

TN has what i was lookin for !!!!!! but i got a pistol grip shifter.... i need to be on the phone orderin a line lock....

I think the one that comes with the kit releases when you let go...:dontknow:
I keep mine coiled up and stowed in the lower dash panel under the steering wheel. It's hand held and invisible unless I "whip it out"...
