ok, i want to get a headers with catless. i am planning on to get magnaflow exhaust. I am thinking to get mopar, belanger or what? i am mostly thinking about go with mopar header, what is your opinion? which is better performance?

There are ALOT of threads on headers man, and lots of opinions. Best thing to do is to use the search feature and read thru them all, then make your own choice.;)

believe me i have research almost all of them and i couldnt decicde :(....boy it is hard to make a decision for my truck...well i am thinking mopar header is the right one..

Some at the cruise in galviston had headers that melted there inner fender.. you might watch for that.

I have the Belangers and love them. No experience with others on the SRT10

I think I'm going with B&B. I think they have the best performance but I'm not sure, they are polished SS and they are very clean on the welds and the shape/style flows very well and isn't all twisted up like some of them. Respectively they are also the most expensive I believe. With MSRP around 1800-1900 I think but we'll see what kinda price boomer has on them when he gets around to the price check. I've also read a lot of the header threads and its been hard to decide but B&B looks the best IMO and I'll be taking my truck to shows so I think the choice is made finally.

Think about this man, we have pretty strict emission laws here. The mopar headers and catless mid will not pass inspection. You would have to pull them off every year to get a sticker not to mention with the mopars you have to disconnect the Steering Rod from the box because the mopars loop around it on the right side.

So far Ive seen most members talking about the Belangers "flaking" after a while.

The B&B headers are practically the same price as the Belanger headers. Have not seen anybody with the B&B Headers or complain about them. I have the B&B catback and it is well worth the money. Personally Ive already ordered B&B long tubes and High flow mids from Boomer. I want my exhaust loud but where I live, I dont want rediculously loud so Im going with the mids with cats. When you order the B&B systems it takes about 3 weeks to get. They make the parts per order they recieve, so Ill also know my stuff hasnt been sitting on a shelf for a year getting moved around in a warehouse possibly getting damaged.

oh boy, that is hard to make a decision I know that inspection will not pass due to catless but I have heard that if I get mopar header (catless) with magnaflow it would pass the inspection I just don't understand how would that be possible. I'm planning on to get boomer's pcm becuz it will trick pcm in think my truck still have cat. but I don't think I want to disconnect the steering rod to have mopar loop around it. now B&B seems start hit me maybe I want to go with it but would it caused any melt?

would BB and magnaflow fit together fine?

also I just realized and didn't know what high flow is, what is it?

sorry if I have too much questions to ask, I just want to make a right choice.

If your going long tubes I'd go with either the Mopars or Belangers with a Magnaflow catback system, B&B offers a nice product but way overpriced imo....if you got money to burn go for it but If your looking to spread your cash amongst other mods I'd go this route

Other members have the B&B mids and High Flow Cats on their magnaflow. I only have the B&B catback so I cannot answer that for ya.

When we say High Flow were talking about the Catalytic Converters. Instead of the 4 that we have on our trucks from the factory aftermarket systems have Mids with one High Flow Cat on each side.

The Mopar system is great but where we live its too strict. I know I dont want to have to swap my system out every year. Im hoping the the B&B Longtubes and High Flow Cat Mids pass inpection here, but I dont know yet.

You may want to look into the Bassani Shortie headers....

I'm def go with magnaflow but I'm still looking for header. Yeah I think BB is really great but the price is pretty high so I am still thinking about either mopar or belangers. but I will check out the bassani

I would go with the mopar. I have had now problems with them melting anything and i didnt use the header wrap. This winter i took them off and had them ceramic coated so Ill see how much cooler they are this spring. Also i have the mopar exhaust and the truck is catless. To pass e-check i paid for collectors plates and i never have to have an e-check ever again.

I think it is absolutely rediculous how high priced headers are for the trucks and Vipers.

check into a set of bassanni's from jmb I think there around $985 or so. They look good and from what I hear there not as bad as many for the install. I saw them on a truck and thought they looked kind of trick. bb makes a real nice set of mids with cats too.

Wait until you check the prices of ported heads!

One thing to remember. Messing with any, and I repeat any emission controls on a vehicle is a Federal, not state violation.

Depending on how badly they want to make an example out of you, they can bend you over and by the time they are done, you will be able to park your truck in your anal cavity.

Do what you wish, but keep that in mind.
