Who got the best deal on their SRT-10??

Hey Jerry, is that Red Ride due for it's first oil change yet?

I just picked up my SRT-10 QC last week for $24,000 with 6,218 miles on it. Still smells new and look it as well, It has NAV / Sunroof / Side Bags. It's bone stock all the way down to the airfilter. I did spent an extra $1,600 on a 4 year 48,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. I work at a GM store and got the warranty at cost..

First one was 05 RC with 14k miles and a fully built engine for $19,000. Second was 05 RC with 30k miles for $21,000.

After learning that Roy actually managed to get his wife to buy his cash AND even convinced her to sponser the extensive mods, I think no one else need say anythinggg... ANYmore.

I'm not sure it counts though, just because one is smart enough to marry a rich woman:dontknow: :dontknow: :D :D :D

My Dad the philosopher once told me: "If you date only rich beautiful women, you will marry a rich beautiful woman." He neglected to tell me that some of them leave you when you are in Vietnam, but I am batting .500 at this point!

Paid too much. Paid cash. But if your going to buy something like this, if you can't pay it off, then you don't need it

I bet over 90% here didn't pay cash:confused: so, in your opinion, none of us should own these trucks??

paid cash for both of mine. gave sticker for the 05, paid 14 for the 04 and tore it apart.

I'm not sure that is exactly what he is saying...

But there is no doubt that once any of us realizes the value of paying cash for your vehicles, it becomes very obvious that there is no better way to go!

All it takes is a few years of discipline...I did it in 1971 for the first time...bought a Mercedes Sedan Diesel, for cash (and my paid off trade in).

I have never paid another finance charge for a vehicle since...I bet it has saved me at least $75 or $100 thousand over the last 40 years. Once you pay cash, and develop the habit of starting saving immediately for the next vehicle...it becomes very easy. Compounding of dollars is one of the most amazing mathematical/economic advantages that exists.

Try it once...you will never regret it.
