who had dual air boxes?

I remember seeing a member here with 2 stock air boxes installed. I am going to do the the same thing. Can't seem to find the old post. Any info and tips would be helpful, like the Y adapter and where it came from. I may have to Fab that part.

you will have to move battery and flip fuse box on its side if i remember right

Not that much trouble. Just the Y adapter on the intake could be the problem.

I did the duel intake but have since changed back to a single...reason was I just didnt have the time to finish out the thing...lot of work to make the fuse box and battery box look right. The battery needs to be moved either to the other side of the engine bay or to the rear of the truck as mine was.

You will need to modify the battery box or remove it and the fuse box needs to move to where the battery is. Getting around the top radiator hose is another problem and custom mounting brackets for the air box are needed.

The one in the picture below is roughed in but is a working system...it looked great and I plan to revisit this project again in the future.

I used a custom made T at the TB but would use a Y in a permanent job.

Actually had a muffler shop make it...but it was just a cheap way to rough the system...he used 4.5" pipes to make it....if you want to use it you can have it....a Y would be the way to go for smoother air flow...
