Who is Running the General Grabber Tires?

I have them on my truck... They are MUCH better in the rain than stock. The wear seems to be better than stock as well. They don't make nice BLACK marks like the Pirellis tho. :D

My Perellis quit making black marks when they got about 2/3 worn...they barely smoke now..:p ............how is dry traction with them? Do they track better than the Perellis? The Perellis seem to "hunt" all over if the road is uneven..

The "hunting" problem is better with the Generals... but still there. Our tires are just too wide (they fit right in one groove from the semi's, and half-way in the other groove.... making the truck "fall" in and out of the groove). But, it is better. I think the Generals are a little softer. Dry traction is just as good, IMO.

I haven't noticed the "Hunting" problem with my Grabbers. The Pirelli's darted all over the place. Wet handling is vastly improved. I think the only one who's had anything negative to say was mmmmtorque. But his comments were specifically track related (Virginia International Raceway). Not the straight track. I'll buy another set when the time comes.

I had grabbers on my last 04 reg cab. It was a 5.7. I liked the tires, but the sidewall was a little too busy for me.

im running them on mine and love them. tons better than the pirelli's

So far mostly positive comments...sounds like they may be for me...I can get them from a local tire store for $186.15 each. This includes mounting, road force balance and sales tax ($16.15). How does this compare with what others have paid?

sounds good, i think i paid 150 plus 24 mounting and balancing here in town.

Shit, they are $169 + here. Total for 4 including the Road Hazard was $911.74

Better than Pirelli's!!

I got 'em...

But my only experience with them is on the test drive!

I'm picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait to see how the Grabbers go in the rain and (Gawd forbid) snow...

I have them on my truck as well. Performance is good, and they even smell the same as the more expensive tires when they smoke.

I paid $150 bucks a tire, mounted and balanced...and i LOVE them over the stock tires. Can't speak of rain performance, as my truck never has seen rain.
