Who is the real winner Ford or Dodge

He has the huge wing on his truck right? His truck did sound good at the vtcoa meet. I think he and I raced too, can't remember all who I raced that day.

Thats his alright, the black rc w/ punisher stickers. He did race that weekend. I tried running the 240, but the ignitor chip and the coil packs were'nt up for the job.. lol

The L is easier/cheaper to go fast in. The 10 kills it in every other category, IMO.

Okay so in a performance based truck category, with the main idea of speed, the lightning achieves these goals easier/cheaper. Curious to know what the 10 "kills" it in. As the braking in these trucks are comparable, not just user opinions but actual factual findings, the ability to use the truck as a truck doesn't favor the SRT10 as much as it does the lightning. Ultimately, the purchase of either truck comes down to a few things, the fact the RC is offered in a 6 speed, the personal opinion on looks and brand name. All else is to close to compare to weight either side down more.

The 10 is built better... the L looks and feels cheap. The 10 turns heads, the L does not. There are guys on here that are pretty much stock that roll into car shows and win. The L could never do that! The looks of the 10 destroy the L, but that's just my opinion.
You can have a manual tranny or a quad cab with the 10, not so much with the L. Nice 22inch wheels vs some shitty 18s. How about luxury options??? Heated seats? Nav? Sunroof? etc...

I'm on a very small Army post, and there are 3 Lightnings here... I'm the only 10

I didn't know this was strictly a must own viper truck forum to be a member. I'm a car enthusiast, therefore I don't just stick to one specific site. I actually partake in many events. Like before mentioned, you should bring your SRT10 to the next VTCOA meet in florida, where we rent a track out. Everyone is fast on the internet, how about the real deal. Like I said, you shouldn't have a problem coming to take some easy money from a chump lightning owner now should you?
You obviously have a bias towards lightnings, whether it's the brutal beatings they've dealt you or just the idea of having a truck other than a Dodge in the same category.

i don't see anything wrong with an L owner being on here...I like the mix and seeing the other sides view...I'm actually a member on a L forum b/c a friend of mine owns an L....
The trucks are very comparable, and at the same time 2 different animals.....The L is a lightweight smaller looking truck, the Ram, I feel, doesn't sway as much as a L does and the Ram's engine is all about torque especially on top end where it runs free on the highway...
Also the Ram can tow and be used as a truck especially the QC.... can the L tow this with 1100 lbs of prefab fence panels in the bed?

I don't mind Lightning guys or Hemi guys or whoever being on here. It makes things interesting. I just don't like it when they hop on here talking shit, trying to tell us their truck is "better":dontknow: They have their own forums for that

I'm just speaking for myself but this is a public website and I'm a member of an L site, I don't like when I get bashed on over there so I'm not going to do it to another brand owner here, it doesn't show the class of an individual... It's all about preference he likes his L's and we like our 10's...He's obviously here for a reason wether he wants to learn about our truck or likes our truck, so he's welcome in my book....
In reality these are both badass trucks wether you like the L or not and they are both the fastest sons of bitches to hit the pavement!:rock:
