i owned a mustang saleen S351 sold ot and got the srt-10 i love my truck it is a lot better ride and a can tow with it and the plus it has 4 doors

I guess this is a prime example of how to stereo type, Don't see that very often on this forum... Guess I need to go get a vest, chaps, and tassles. On the other hand the bell is a tradition to ward off bad road spirits, but I guess you knew that.

I had both at one time a 2k ford lightning and a 2004 harley crew cab. I like the lightning alot and there are a ton of aftermarkets out for it, just didnt like the auto, didnt feel sporty to me. the harley was a sweet truck and i like the looks and the aftermarket as well, but to me it was alot to pay for some stickers. was really no different to me then a ford crew cab with a lightning motoer and a bunch of harley plastic. Now I own a 04 ram srt 10 RC and im in love with the thing. its sporty feeling has stick and a list of other mods. Dont get me wrong I like all 3 trucks but for different reasions. I would never go back to a lightning or a Harley crewcab. SRT 10 all they way. They were talking about the fact you cant tow with a SRT but I dont think I have ever heard anyone have stories about their quadcab not beibg able to tow. also I think the weight you can tow with the quad cab is greater then the crewcab. I belive the issue with towing with a RC is just the clutch issue. upgrade clutch and add a hitch and off you go.

I had a '04 Lightning.... I was on my 3rd motor (at 21,000 miles) when I sold it.

yah for got to mention that as well lol blew first motor and ford gave me a hard time about replacing it because i had a cold air intake and a exhaust.got my second motor in and after 15k it sounded like ass again thats why i sold it lol.

I liked the harley truck because it looked nice, but I dont own a harley i race a o4 gsxr 1000 and have a 05 gsxr 1000 for the street. I worked for harley for about a year. Ive meet some of the nicest people over there along with the typical weekender that had a white collar job but doesent take a shower and trys to grow some facial hair by sunday too look kewl for the sunday ride. but being that said there are people like what I have mentioned in all forms of matters weither it be car or bikes. Lets not for get the same can be said for people that have ricers with the folgers coffee can for an exhaust and then there are the few that really have nice cars.

Actually I'm a huge fan of sport bikes. While stationed in Italy I rode a couple of aprila's and loved them. With time I have changed, I now prefer just cruising and enjoying the secenary. I took no offense to your comment... I have and will continue to see the people that you are talking about, they for some reason or another feel they have to look the part to ride a harley and to each his own. I will quit hoing someones thread now just want to state my point.

I did forget to mention that the thing I liked least about the Harley truck was the fact that it had Harley badges. I'm not a harley guy. I ride motocross and needed a truck to haul the bikes. I also wanted a truck that hauls ass. I also have two kids. Therefore, in 2003, my only option for a fast 4 door truck was the Harley or the Chevy SS and the SS was sloooooowwwww and waaaaaaaayyyy over priced. I paid $31,000 (sticker was $39k) new for the Harley truck in 2003. The SS was at least $10k more and slower. I chose my best option considering what I wanted and price. Same goes for my choice to buy the SRT10 QC. When it was time to get rid of the Harley truck 6 months ago, the SRT10 was priced right (finally) and clearly the fastest truck around.
