whos truck ???

Yes I did watch the video and saw the same mistakes. All I'm saying is give some of these newbies a chance. If their the second or third owner of a ten perhaps they don't know where the correct info is. Open a two way conversation then have fun with the digs. We've all gone through it. After all the posts about modding our trucks and the changes we encountered with CPU's, nitrous and turbos we've learned alot. Look at some of the top NASCAR teams and the frustrations they had in the transition to EFI and running a CPU. They made some so called "stupid" mistakes but didn't make them again after learning. We had already faced some of the same difficulties and learned from the guys on this site because we shared info. We all continue to mod our tens and sell pieces from the last mode often to the newbies. Lets welcome them instead of losing them it'll help in keeping the value of our trucks.

I agree...

Those of us who can, should really try and help the new folks where we can. We will never be able to prevent some one from being rude, I'm afraid we all have that streak in us somewhere. I send people here all the time that email me about their truck. I never know if they opened an acount because I get to see her real name not a screen name. I always hope that they find what they are looking for.

Cheers :D

Oh and for what it's worth, I think I know that truck, just haven't found it in my pile of unprocessed findings

I made sure to know the basics b4 i bought mine... found out from an old venomous thread all diff. Paint colors...read wikipedia no telling how many times lol imo if u want to own a truck like this do research...

If you go on the internet and act like you know everything you should expect someone to jump on every little mistake you say. Just the way the internet works.

I know who owns the truck in the video. He is a friend of mine and no, he is not a member on here. I was going to answer this thread yesterday about who he was, but after all the bashing about him, I decided not to. Unfortunately, he doesn't know all there is about these trucks and probably never will. He was interviewed at an all Mopar show in Knoxville, Tennessee last summer. I was there with my 04 black 10, but was not approached for an interview. I probably would of been a little nervous and excited about being video taped and would have made some mistakes here and there, but not because of lack of information, just nerves. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for listening.

Tell him to join our little gang!!

I agree, I'm sure he is good natured and because he is a MOPAR Guy, he's used to getting crap from all the x brands, he will laugh along with us. I knew I saw 106 some time back and I had, He's done very well keeping it one of the nicer Rides out there

I's all a choice Brother, let him decide

Oh, if it helps, people hated what I did with mine wayback when.....

He should join and tell him the brakes are TRW's. If you drive a Mopar people are going to bust your balls anyway. But in his defense I recently had a mechanic at a Dodge dealer tell me the brakes on the Truck were Brembos and that all SRT's have Brembos. So go figure on that one.

At least it's not a Ford bc that's like riding a moped. It's fun as long as no one sees you doing it. :D

I just want to find the K&N filter and aftermarket Mopar exhaust that gives you 600+ HP. I just saw it on the internets so it must be true!

Did have a supercharger on it too.

I think he was talking about the John Cena video.

Anyway, I just got around to watching the original vid. While I personally wouldn't opt for some of that guys mods, I didn't think he did a bad job talking about his truck. Sounds to me like someone sold him a set of caltracks and told him they stiffen up the rear end, planting the rear tires. Also sounds like whoever installed the Paxton probably told him he had a 700hp+ hp truck that would probably put mid 600's to the rear wheels. A lot of guys know less about their vehicles than this guy does. The interviewer however, was very annoying.
