Why i didnt make it to the drag races (56k beware)

Crazy, metal coming out of the block=big time prob :D

Best of luck with the new build, any need to boost your supercharger? 11 psi?

i was at 12-13 psi when this happened, new goal is going to be 14-15 with 100-150 shot of nitrous.

First off, sorry to see this happen. No matter what it hurts.

If you are planning on running boost in the 14 to 15 range and nitrous on top of that you might want to consider lowering the compression ratio down to the 8, or 8.5 range. If it was me I wouldn't go over 8.

Just something to consider. God luck with your new engine.

I had something like that happen to a supercharged 5.9 magnum about 5 years ago. Nothing was reuseable, total loss. I know how you feel.

bill.

Sorry about the loss. I had a Bill Miller aluminum rod break in my Road Runner at 7200 rpm. It broke the cam in 3 pieces, all I salvaged was the carburetor, 1 cylinder head and 3 pistons. When the rod broke it took out the oil pan and shoved the cam up through the intake. But you can rebuild it stronger and better and faster!!!:dancing:

That block looks like a freakin warzone dude, good luck with the rebuild

really i didnt know it coul dbe any worse. i did manage to save the oil pan  i was going to use the rest as target practice

good news is the new engine shoul dbe put together in about 1 month. or 2 weeks after the pistons arrive.
