does any one make a wider tire in a 22"..say a 315 or even a 345?(with same aspect ratio) i'd sure like to put a 345 on the rear stock wheels (would have to have the wheels widened)

I don't think there is clearance for anything MUCH wider than what we're sporting now. I know mopower has some 325's (22"x12" rim )on his truck.

I'd love some 335's or 355's on a 22x13 or 14 (See sig).

I found some 20x16's, but that'd take some serious rearend mods!

i did a search by size on the tire rack site and got "no matches":dontknow:
do you know what brand MOPOWER is running?

I need those for the new MT's that I am getting. Where can I find them?

Coopers I think. I know MarcT is running the Coopers (325 mm).

TG: I found the M/T's in Summit's & Jeg's catalog, but they're not available in our bolt pattern. But I'd almost bet if someone were to contact M/T they'd make a set for our bolt pattern (5 x 5.5).

Thanks. That is what I am finding so far as well. I find the rims, but in the wrong bolt pattern.
I am getting the wheel wells tubbed on Monday. I will get the new rear with 4 link next followed by the new monster rubber.

DUDE. You HAVE to keep me updated on this, please. You completely stole the idea from my skull!!! :D Good luck.

I know this is kinda irrelevant, but a friend of mine called American Racing and had some wheels made custom for his particular application. I'm sure M/T would do the same . . . :dontknow: :)

[threadjack] Follow along in my "Go Fast Plan" in the signature. [/threadjack]

Joe is running either 315's or 325's on stock wheels....can't remember his sign-on, but he's doing it.....they are just a tiny bit taller as well, he like's them.....he might be bigblackqc :dontknow:

YEP!!

325's on 11 inch rims. They will fit on the stock rim but will have a little more buldge in the sidewall.

I have a little bit of rub when she bottoms out, I never hear it it but is evedent from rub marks on the plastic well liners.

well... went to the cooper web-site,they don't list any widths over 305 for a 22" wheel:dontknow:

The stock size over height is 31.5 inches tall.

Those are only 28.8" tall. Your front tires will be taller than the rears, unless you make the same compensation for the fronts. Looking at the truck, you're gonna notice 2.7" difference. . . :)

hey kool...level the truck, wider rear tires, and in effect change the gearing, (for quicker times)thats 3 birds....now we are onto something! LOL

thanks..found them. also found thesehttp://www.customwheelsdirect.com/tires_brand/tire_detail.php?id=7274
2.7" shorter than the 40s'. would this be comparable to a 4:10 gearing down to a 4:56. thinkin...maybe kill two birds...one stone:dontknow:

that would indeed give a "ratio" as 4.48... could be the way to go !
( Tirerack doesn't give that tire :dontknow: )

would also lower the truck with 1.35"....:D :elefant:
