Sorry if this is the wrong forum and i have searched a lil but cant find what im lookin for:

Does anybody know of any custom shops that can cut my rear wheels and widen them for wider tires? I've heard of this done and i think a few people on here have done it so i was wanting to get some pricing.

Also, what is the widest tire anyone is running on the stock 22x10's?
(I like phat rears :D )

I'm not sure there is a wider tire available? There is a place called Weldcraft that widened my WS6 wheels to 17x13 for a 335 tire.

i think dale's (tinygiants) has the widest rear tire i know of, and by no means a stock wheel. it looks sweet. but lots of custom work (tubbed and narrowed?) to get it in there. i also thought someone was running a 325 rear tire, not sure if it was a 40 series though.

Ill see what i can dig up on Weldcraft. Thanks man!

if you are going to have the stock wheels widend... i think you would need the rear end narrowed?...... the wheel almost sticks out as it is? unless you get them to machine down the back spacing

I would like to have them widened maybe to 13 or 14". Does anyone have the stock specs for these wheels, i would like to know the offset.

You might be rubbin' with a wheel that wide on a truck that low. If you do do it, make sure to get us the details. It would look awesome.

Ill definately keep everyone updated. ;)

Coloradokid just put on 325's all the way around and says it looks sick. No problems with rubbing on the front too! But he said this size is becoming harder to find.

I've been looking at Toyo Proxes S/T 325/50R22 tires (part # 242680), very tempting. I like the larger sidewall for better traction (side wall give/flex) and the fact they should fill in the rear wheel gap perfectly, not sure on fitment though and those bastards ain't cheap. $400+ US per tire - yikes! Mine are currently 32.8" OD (325/45) and 325/50s are 34.7". They are V rated, weigh 60lbs and the overall width is 13", all measurements taken on a 10" rim. Decisions, decisions....
