Willow Loves Roy:

Just one more thing.....

Roy's son, Trey is one of the nicest people that you'll ever want to meet. He's kind hearted, intelligent, respectful, humble and loves his kids more than anything in the world....

Roy should be very proud...... for this is the mark of a good man.... he replicates himself.

Tim,

It's so nice to hear that you and Roy met up. As much as you two spar online its nice to hear how much you two get along when you meet in person. It's a great thing to meet people and not hide behind a keyboard. I for one would love to meet Roy in person. I have the utmost respect for him and you too.

One day I promise to stop working so much and travel around with the truck for pleasure.

All the best to you and the family.

Likewise to you, Jeff.

Someday I'd love to spend some time with you.... Roy and I had no reason to do anything but to dig each other and our families. For me, it was pure joy. Roy is a true gentleman and a kid at heart just like me.... I'm certain that he'll attest to that when he gets back on the forum....

Peace and love....

I for one would love to have a sit down with you. You can smoke a nasty cigar:D and I can have a captain and pat willow on the head and we can debate anything or just talk about the stars.

Hope you are doing well.

Hey Helms - how ya been :dontknow:  I can personally attest to the fact that both Tim and Roy are as genuine as they come. They are both in person as they are behind their keyboards. They say what they think, stand their ground and that's what makes them who they are  You won't be disappointed when your time comes :D

This was such a great occasion that I though it deserved its own thread....:

Roy and his son Trey just left and are on there way to see OCB in the morning...

I have to tell you all something.... Roy is one of the most spiritually magnanimous guys you'll ever meet. We had an awesome time just enjoying each others company. Lynette was just remarking about what genuinely nice people both Roy and Trey are...... We all got along great. And unless I'm a lousy judge of human nature I think everyone shared a truly sweet vibe. Even Willow had fun....

He also sprung for a very nice meal..... Thanks again, bro.

Roy has such a pleasant and inclusive spirit.... I really got off on the time we spent together. And of course we smoked the good stuff..... cigars that is....

God bless Roy and Trey and protect them on their journey....

DfD

Roy and Trey were awesome. and We were honored to have been able to spend time with them. You pretty much summed it up, Tim :D

Again, Tim hits the nail right on the head

Lynette was the first to observe Trey and remark about his qualities. She's very observant like that......

I just instantly liked him......

I've been going through some tough times, but I'm still kicking. Just have a donut and try to forget things....

I'm sure Roy and Tim are upstanding guys. I've had many PMs from them and forum posts that make me respect them for their views. Both bring it and it is nice to hear they are the same in person.

Just an FYI, you and the hubby are two others I need to meet in person. I hope things are going well for you two.

Sorry to hear about the tough times :( and it seems like most of us are right there with you in one way or another. But, on the good side, I am glad to see you post

You might want to upgrade from a donut to a rum ball :dontknow: ;) :p unless I missed that you quit drinking, if so - try double sprinkles :)

We also hope to meet you someday :D :D :D

Happened on this thread this morning...just checked, it is in the non-offensive section...so that is why no one is ripping on me the way they usually do.

Trey deserves all of the accolades...he is truly a fine gentleman, father and human being.

I on the other hand was on my best behavior so as to not piss anyone off. It was tough, but I managed.

I would have liked to see more people on my visit, but Trey was on a very tight schedule and I wanted some quality time with Tim, Bob and Denise and Jerry. Time is limited in this life, I have recently become cognizant of that fact.

Thanks for the thrills...I got wood at all three meetings!

Why do you have to be on your best behavior? I always thought you were very personable!!!! Arguments online are one thing....knowing the man behind the computer is another, don't ever NOT be yourself Roy! You would not be the man I respect otherwise!;)

My tough times are not like yours. Just business stuff but my company is going well. Just had a tough time with personnel issues...

I tried to stop drinking, but I had a captain or two. It's a good remedy to stupid people.

You and Jerry on on the top of my list:D
