Sorry I missed this I hope Willow is OK.....I do understand how dogs RULE.....life without them would be sad!!!

Willow is seemingly doing better.......

We'll see how much better on her next check-up ....(Thursday)

Another setback: ............Shit............

Last night I looked at Willow hind leg..... that's where the hospital inserted the pic line... (it's an I.V. site) Willows leg was very swollen..... It looked like edema to me.... She also began favoring it.....

This morning Lynette, who now has the same fkn cold symptoms I have, :mad: sez that Willow started throwing up again.... shit.... So they are back at the hospital again.....

They're doing bloodwork on her and trying to resolve all this shit.....

So ................... Here we go again.............:( :eek: :dontknow:

Ok guys n girls,

Here's the latest...........:

4 times a day Willow gets a therapy of heat for 20 minutes and then ice for 20 minutes... Following that, she gets PT on the leg... (Dr Django, the therapist) works the leg to full extension both in and out to stimulate the tissues and maximize a free and full range of motion.....

Plus Willow is on a new and additional broad spectrum antibiotic... probably 14 days, Im not certain.....

A bit of good news though: Her biliruben has come down to 3 since Thursday.... This is a sure sign that her liver is getting better... All her other liver enzyme markers have come down as well.....

So, internally she's improving. She just needs to get over this edema thing in her leg now.....

Oddly enough, she was very happy to go into the hospital today..... She wagged her tail at all the staff who all put on their "Uncle Matty" falsetto voices as soon as they recognized her..."Hey Willow.....!!!"...

All the other dogs are stuck in cages while they just let the Willmeister run free through the whole fkn hospital...like she owns it..... The shit we get away with in this family, I tell ya.....

She's upstairs curled up in bed with Lynette.....

Glad it wasn't anything too serious and that therapy and medication can be administered. Good news on her liver counts too. Com'on Willow "Straighten up and fly right".
