With the 100+ temp here in Texas I want to tent my windows. The back seems to have some tent from the factory but I am really confused as to the amount needed to keep some of the heat out. Texas allows 25% on the front windows and unlimited on the rear. 25% of what? My 2nd question is what % is our rear windows? Not wanted to mess with the windshield as I use a fold up screen when parked but really need something on the two front windows. But will do all four so as to match. Would like to do it myself but my third thumb might get in the way. Suggestions?

Take your truck to an outfit that specializes in window tinting. They can set you up.

The percentage is the percent of light still allowed through.
Make sure you go to a reputable place that uses 3M film.
Cheap film will turn purple or yellow over time and look like shit.
I went with 20% here on the side windows on top of the factory tint. When the state troopers measured it one day it was 17% and I got a warning. (Only 30% allowed here legally)
I did my back window with 15% over the factory tint and it's too dark IMO. Can't see anything in my rear view mirror unless I open the sliding window. Night time is really hard to see.

On another vehicle I have here I went with 30% on the side windows and really like it.

Here is my truck with the tint. It looks nice but if I was to do it over I would use 30% on all the windows

The tint color blocks the amount of light but plenty of tint out there (even limo tint) have no UV blockers so heat penetrates. That said, there are good clear tints that are nearly 100% UV blocking and far more effective. As previously stated...I'd highly recommend a shop who specializes in auto tint and uses top end products like 3M's.

Shorty, I promise I didn't mean to forget about the pictures today, I've just been working on the wife's Durango to have it ready for a big vacation we have coming up. I won't forget tomorrow, I already made myself a sticky note and put it on my steering wheel. :)

Hey, not a problem. At my age I would forget where I put the sticky note.
