Hey guys... this will be my first winter with my truck.... never put a vehicle up for the winter... so I have no idea what I should do... its not winter yet... but just trying to get some info for future references.... thanks in advance

Just go do donuts in the snow already. You know you want to. :driver:
i leave mine for a month at a time and its just on a battery tender....start it from time to time and bring it up to temp, should be fine.

Thats all it takes! I do the same with my Boat. Starting it and letting it run for at least 10-15 minutes every week or 2 will keep her fresh

I wouldn't say mine is a "daily" driver, but I do drive it once or twice a week. And will do so especially in the cold weather.
Im proly like u.... I drive mine (maybe) once a week (weekend) but winter!!! NO WAY I've seen what salt does to paint & wheels and im just not doing that again! Especially not to my truck

I hear brother. We don't have much snow or ice down here.
I store mine in my headed garage for 5-6 months during winter. I fill the gas tank up in October, but I have never added Stabil, the gas does fine over the winter. I hook up the battery tender and then start it a few times over the winter. We see -40 a few times, the cement floor gets cold, so the tires flat spot. A quick drive in spring fixes that issue.
What's this battery tender ppl talk about... and when spring comes back around u say tires have flat spots.. does just a drive fix it?

I highly recommend using one. If your truck sits for an extended time, the tires will flat spot. Driving a couple of miles will fix them right up.

Why not just put truck on jack stands placed under rear axle and front arms to keep shocks compressed. That how ive always stored my drag quad and race car

Goofball you live in Tennessee, why would you put it up? It has a heater just remember to roll your window up.
I top up the gas tank, fill the tires to 40 psi, disconect the battery negative post, cover with a custom cover, leave it and start in the late spring early summer when I bring it out again.
I have heard conflicting reports about starting it every 1 or 2 weeks as starting an engine after all the oil is in the pan is really hard on it so rather than do it 20 times or more, I just do it once when I'm ready to drive again.
