Well the USA played to a draw, better than expected. I'm sure they're all thanking the England goalie for that freebie hehehe. I'm real interested to see what the N. Korea team is all about when they play on Tuesday.
 
Yeah, very disappointing goal for us. Glad to see a draw though. Did you notice the size difference? Our guys are small. I wonder how it would be if our Kobes, Lebrons, Peyton Mannings, etc. focused and played soccer.

They would suck because soccer doesn't matter if you're 6'8 unless you're a hella coordinated dude with mad jump / head butting skills lol... The draw was an epic victory for the US even though we tied. They were 0-15-2 or something if scored on first in the first 20 mins... happened at the 3:4x mark lol
 
Anyone see the BS call from the refs yesterday? USAvsSLV Yesterday was a complete football fail, Germany game got 9 yellow cards including a red! USA made a hell of a come back but then the refs F'd them! Then england tied 0-0 what a day gezzz. USA should be ok we have more goals if we tie in points. GO USA!!!!

That's why you watch it in a bar with the sound turned off hehehe.

I've seen a little here and there. Been some interesting moments too, not the least of which was the N. Korea/Brazil match. If it hadn't been for a lucky goal by Brazil that would have been a draw too.

Well out of all the games played there has not been any outstanding team so far, games are average, quality is poor,
Argentina seem to be the best of a bad bunch.

Watching England has been a real struggle for us Brits.
Sooooooooooo bad.
 
Heck Mick, if it were not for England's lucky goal early in the game the US would have won outright! :p :p :p :D
 
It has been kind of boring, I still try to watch as much as I can (I'm a rugby fan, being Kiwi and all) but like the Olympics, I'm not a athletics fan etc but enjoy it when it's on, must be the hype? New Zealand are just happy to be there, as a rugby powerhouse nation. We play Italy in a couple of hours and regardless, just getting to the finals for the 2nd time ever is an achievement we're all very proud of. :)

Re: the USA goal that was disallowed, I'm still unsure WTF that was about, nothing comes to mind other than the other team were holding the US back so the goal should still remain, VERY poor decision. The refs response to his decision was downright BS "I'm not going to say why I gave it" LOL such a shame when a team that should have won doesn't due to a blundering error by an official. Football is a popular sport and would be even more popular if they quit diving like a bunch of bum bandits every time 1mm of their body got tapped, get up, play on and harden up! Some players have no respect or dignity for themselves or their country.

To roll around like a sissy for a free kick, these guys obviously don't mind looking like a poof to get goals. I must say, it's fantastic to see the USA building in strength, to have the USA in the higher rankings would do wonders for Football, now, if only you guys would get into Rugby like you do football then Rugby would build even more so!

1-1 against Italy YEHAAAW!!! lol #78 vs. 5 and current World Champs, what a great result.
We gave ourselves a chance to get through to the 2nd round in our final group match and that is all we wanted. :)
