58 in a 25 and loss of driving privileges on Base for one year...oh...and I lived on base which meant I didn't drive that much...

BTW...I got a speeding ticket in my truck the first day I owned it. Doing 45 in a 35 or some crap like that. Did the online course in Florida and never heard about it from the insurance company!

My first and only ticket came earlier this year, 81 in a 65. Curse Texas and their lower nighttime speed limits. I got a $298 dollar ticket knocked to $150 and a thank you for your service with one call to the judge to explain to him that I missed my court date due to being deployed to Iraq.

My thoughts exactly....a few too many young ones running around who haven't yet boarded the train of life. I don't worry....they'll be boarding soon. Just hope they keep their eyes open about the realities around them. On a scale of 1 thru 10 I'd rate a couple tickets at Zero.

Damn,,,I got my first ticket for speeding and improper change of lanes before I had the second part ( A and B )of my liscense in Va.....Lost mine for 6 months. I was 15 & about nine months old at the time. I have had pretty much every ticket possible ,with the exception of any DUI's...I take pride in not getting one of those and never will. ( I Don't Drink )..I do wish I had all the money I have paid for tickets and court costs. I was clean on tickets for around 15 years, until last year...Damn SC coon hound came out of the woods and got me speeding...2 point ticket and fine paid.. I swear he shot the wrong guy with the radar . I have not seen an increase in the insurance rates,,,,Yet.:dontknow: :marchmellow: ....Don't sweat it it only hurts for a little while

Yeah. i guess that its not that bad its just that ive never had to deal with this and it worries the dog snot out of me. Im only 21 and have worked very hard to get everything that i have. My parents bought me my first car, an 82 Dodge Mirada, and i payed and did all the work redoing it and then i have bought every car i have ever had since. To hafta loose this one over my insurance going up and me and my fiance not being able to afford it would be horrible. I dont know. Like i said im going to try for defensive driving and if i cant get that than maybe defered judification(I think thats what its called).

Man you are way ahead. I lost my license for 6 months when I was 19. Then I was on another three months restricted license. Too much street racing got me. I then started taking the hot rods to the track and bought a 4x4 for a daily driver. Haven't had a ticket in 18 years.

You'll be fine. Everyone gets one now and then. Since you had a good driving record up to now, I don't think your insurance will go up much if at all. If your driving resulted in an accident, then it would be different. It's not like you got caught doing 120 in a 55... If your insurance does go up, then it is time to shop for a new provider.

I got a ticket last friday. A stop sign infraction. Needless to say I am pretty ticked off about it. But then again i have been terrorizing my city for 6 months now, I am sure they had "put a hat out" on me for anything they could get me on.
