Wow BFG KDWs are getting hard to find.

I haven't found one good review on the Proxes STII. Seems to be a very noisy tire with almost no traction when wet. Little traction when dry. And they don't last very long

I don't think they're noisy at all. They hook great right now but then again they're still new. Will never be able to vouch for wet traction tho. With the price tag on the kdw's, a man could mount and balance two sets of the toyos. I'm not biased on any tire and have never had the kdw's but my "first impression" of these is a good bargain for a good tire. Just my 2cents

I don't believe most of what people write about tires anymore but I will go by reviews from friends who drive on them, my buddy has 2 BMW M3's and said his Hankook's on 1 perform just as good as his Michelin pilot SS's on the other........

It really comes down to preference and what you want a tire to do. All i wanted was dry grip, other people use their trucks as dd's and want a balance of all factors. I go to the track and arm drop races quite a few times in the summer so i didnt want anything to expensive to melt into the pavement. Anyways, i think the new expeditions and some of the denali's are coming stock with the same size tire we need so that may make em more abundant...

It rains 50 plus inches where I live so I hope the KDWs are worth the money and I drive from tropical to desert almost every weeks.

Are the g-Force T/A KDW2 the same thing as the g-Force T/A KDW (NT). NT just means new tread, and isn't that what the KDW2 was?

yep:rock::burnout:

Are there any V or better rated tires available for our trucks?

might check out the GT Radial Champo 528's

same specs as the BFG's, very sticky, not as good in the twisty bits or wet as the BFG's but i like them so far

Well, since I need tires really bad, they are the originals, with pieces missing:dontknow:, I figured I would get new ones. I tried to order the KDW's from onlinetires.com since they were still listed on sale for $285 a tire with 50% off shipping! After waiting a few days, I got an email saying they couldn't get them from anywhere, so the order was cancelled.

I was gonna just save some money and get the General UHP's, but then yesterday I came across a local shops website that had the KDW's listed. I called them up and the guy (Dale) said he would check. He called me back in a few minutes and said he found only 2. He was gonna give me other options but I said I only wanted those, so he said he would try around some more. Well, within an hour he called back and said he found 4 right in Long Island (I'm in CT). I asked if he could find more since others are interested, he checked, but his guy said they were the last in the country. Who knows if thats true though...

Just got a call a little while ago from Dale saying he already has them at the shop!:rock: Gonna go pick them up sometime soon, but not having them mounted as I'm still thinking of doing something with the rims.

Got them for $330 each...so this will probably be my only mod this year, unless I get some kind of mid year bonus!

he is probably not far off from the all there is.

enjoy:rock::burnout::rock::burnout:

Picked them up this morning!!! I can definitely say that these will get installed soon, won't be waiting my usual year like every other mod!:rock:

I just sent BFGoodrich a pretty extensive email... Not that it will probably amount to a piss hole in a snow bank but what the Hell. :dontknow:

I'm not sure, I'll check next time I'm at my garage. I looked at the tag briefly when I was picking them up but didn't notice a date.

Here is a pic of one the tires, not sure if this is the right number, didn't see any other number that could be it.

Is it the 41st week of 2012?
