I lost time in the quarter when I went to the 4:56 from 4:10.
It does drive better in lower gears in traffic...

I love my 4.88's............Unitrax are the gear people. I spoke to the owner when I was considering which gears to purchase and he was super nice and a big help in deciding. Give em a call.
Make sure you get new bearings with the gears...........it'll save ya time when you get em installed and they are cheap.

With the huffer and 4.56:1 gears I'm setting on 5800/rpm in 4th at the end of the 1/4-mile run. :elefant:ViperTruck2933 said:I'm only putting down 535 rwhp N/A but with the 4.56s and the M&H 390s I am bumping the rev limiter in 4th gear in the 1/4.
If I had a S/C I wouldn't chance it. That's a lot of work, only to possibly find out that you now have to shift into 5th gear at the track. That would suck.
Is that with 22" OEMs or with M&H 390 drag radials??QuickSilver said:With the huffer and 4.56:1 gears I'm setting on 5800/rpm in 4th at the end of the 1/4-mile run. :elefant:

Try it with the drag radials. You'll be hitting the limiter with those 4.56s.QuickSilver said:22" O.E.M.
