Just throwing this out there but im looking to buy a Dodge Diesel Quad Cab in the near future. Just need a good work truck with plenty of room to occasionally haul a 24ft trailor. The truck market is really down right now, auto trader has some for dirt cheap right now, just wanted to see if anyone on here had one they were considereing parting with. Thanks!

That's a great truck if you are looking at like the 04 body style or newer. My buddy has a construction business and that is all thy drive for work trucks. I've driven them many of times and have already decided my next 'actual' truck will be one of those. After you get the truck get a Diablo programmer. This will gt u to 20+ mpg in city if u keep ur foot out of the throttle. I can personally say I have gotten this in a dualie with the programmer. If you are looking for some more power After that get a power puck. It works along with the diablo and it is a switch that can on the fly switch between an additional 30 or 60(might be 90 can't remeber) or 0 extra hp. Good luck. Btw the two programmers will run u about 700 bucks total

Nice! I will only drive a dodge (especially diesel). Im really looking for an 03-05. Cant really afford an 06 but i have a friend around here with an 06 4x4 mega cab and he is averaging 22-24 mpg with a programmer (not sure which one). That is very impressive to me. Plus i just like the inline 6 design better anyway, more torque at less rpm, and 2 less cylinders to use fuel

The 5.9L engine is the way to go I was told.....I'm most likely going to be looking into a diesel again toward the beginning of next year...I'm torn between the Dodge Mega Cab or getting an 07 F250 again.....I would get 30+ mpg at 70 with only a programmer:D

Dont get the F-250, we have to stick together and represent the cummins:rock:

The F-250's are nice, i had an 06 4x4 with the 6.0L Diesel in it but they just arent comparable to the ram. We now have an 07 F-250 here at the plant (its the nices model 4x4 FX4, my father n law will only buy ford for his business). In my opinion and experience driveing these F-250's and my dads Cummins, the choice is easy for me, Id rather be cummin than stroken any day:rock:

I know what ya mean...gotta represent:D ...so when the time comes I'll decide by driving them....I just like the way the ford looks stock compared to the Ram...the Ram would already have to have work done for me to consider especially the Mega Cab looks so badass hooked up, but on top of that I think the quality from ford is unmatched....I do like the idea of the straight 6 though and you can do some big time upgrades with little internal work...

Yeah, im not really looking to spend alot of money upgrading it, thats why i bought the SRT (my dream truck). Im just looking for a good dependable daily driver with lots of room and over 600lbs/tq :D . I dont think i will ever get rid of the SRT though;)

i'm in the market for an 05 06 and looking to sell my 10 to get it. Anybody had any luck with the search?

My buddy has an '05 dodge cummins quad cab standard with a few extra's like some killer black chrome stacks.... He might be interested..... I'll see if I i can get ahold of him and see what he would take.... He said he wanted to trade it for a new camaro but he might sell it if the price is right.

That sounds great, the stacks are definately a bonus for me (the wife doesn't seem to like them though). Let me know what he says and a picture would be awesome too ;)
