Took my truck to the festival car show yesterday. I had the only 10. I was surprised. I know these trucks are rare but, alomost nobody knew anything about it. I don't know how many times I heard "hemi" and snickers. I think most thought it was a rumble bee-(we have many rumble bees in my area), or just a modified pickup. Most were amazed to know there was a Viper Truck factory built. I know for sure these trucks gained some fans throught the day. They were especially surprised when I told them it was all original.
Does anyone else show their truck? If so, I'm sure you have the same reactions. Take this subject and run...

I'm also always amazed at how FEW people have heard of a Viper Truck, much less have seen one.

Sorry, forgot my camera so no pics. I'll get some at the next show I attend.

Truthfully, my truck is the only 10 I have seen in person. I'm hoping to GTG with other members soon.

"you did a great job modding that truck"....."that thing got a Hemi?"..........."never knew Dodge made a truck like that"....."How hard was it to get that Viper engine in there?"......"I bet you have to buy gas every day"...."who did the paint job?"........."You must be rich man, I bet that truck cost over $100K"...

These are the questions and remarks I hear all the time. I also cant go any where without attracting attention....people complimenting the truck at almost every stop light...Rare that I can finish pumping gas without being drilled about the truck...

Best comment I got on the truck was from a black guy in a Denali at a red light.."That is one good lookin truck man...I aint no truck man but that is one truck I would love to drive...Dawwwwmm".:marchmellow:

I guess this qualifies as "showing". Won the Burnout Contest at the Charleston Doo Wop show on the boulevard last fall.

Got much respect and sponsorship again for this year! Had a GREAT time and saw a couple more "10's" at the show.

I take mine to a few local shows and cruise-ins.Never won anything, but I love the conversations it gets started.
