X-Metal Paxton Supercharger for sale (New in unopened box)

I haven't heard from Gary yet but I'd like to get this moving. I figure I'll set my price at $7600 or best offer. A bit of a discount off of an already unopened, at-cost item. I'll cover shipping. I'll open the box and take note of the contents and take pics if I haven't talked to Gary within a couple days.
 
I don't see why Gary won't take it back? Its unopened and he knows it hasn't been out of the box so whats up with that?
 
I, too, don't understand why you can't return it for a refund... but none-the-less this is a great deal for someone looking for a Paxton.
 
I dont know either really. I wish that were the case so I wouldn't loose money. I think it was mainly because he didn't have the money in hand to pay me back. So he just shipped it to me and said he'd help me sell it and offer a discount to the purchaser for install so that sufficed for me.

I did get off the phone with him a bit ago and he said he would respond to the questions about it.

06 QC?

Will it fit a 06 QC? Different frame then the 05 but same engine I believe?
 
im interested in the blower..im located in Vancouver Canada..what kind of tuneing software is required to get the truck to wrk well with the supercharger ?

Still waiting on Gary for some afirmative answers. He did say he was hopping on line to do so but I guess he's busy : / But as far as I know it comes with the Vec II, maybe III but I cant speculate as to what is involved in tuning. But, I do know that some folks here on the forum managed to pull a gettogether and install it themselves so I dont think you have to have a tuner.

So far the highest offer is 7K and I'm gonna hang on for just a couple more days but if there aren't any further offers I'll take that since I need the cash. I'll try calling Gary tomorow again to see whats up.

I could be wrong but I think X-Metal reflashes the computer. I don't think their kit comes with a VEC, unless you asked for/paid for one. They cost about $1,000.00 :dontknow:
 
Hm, seems like I remember him saying it came with Vec II when I first talked to him about a paxton install way long ago but I dont want to speculate any more on something that has such a substantial cost. I called Gary again just now and he was with someone in his office but I asked him again to respond to the questions and he said he would... So, hopefully sometime today.

Ok as per a number of folks' request, I've opened the box and taken some pics. There was a LOT of misc. stuff and I dont know what is what for the most part. I have confirmed that it is polished though. But I'm still not sure about the computer/chip/vec. See images 4 and 4b as that black box looks to me like the computer type device. Since it doesn't have the vec logo/brand stamped or stickered on, I would say that it is the flash/piggy back module.

no, it doesnt come with a Vec, i dont use them with the paxton.
it comes with a split second controller.
anyone who buys this kit i will provide them with a custom flash for the split second, based upon their mods, and dyno data.
if some one wants this installed, we will offer them a discounted install onetime rate to help sweeten the deal on this supercharger to help samuel sell it.
 
Well, I did have a buyer but he had to back out so this is still up for grabs. VTCOA is the only place I've had luck from. The 'other' board may as well be a cricket farm. no response from viper alley.
So, yeah. Any takers?
