X-METAL SHOP GTG IN APRIL

by the time i get up there mine will probably be dirty agian too.
 
I'm bringing my truck duster, mist detailer, glass cleaner (wheels) and my truck cover!!! :rock:
 
I'll be getting there Fri late. Prob get up and lend a hand getting the place ready.
 
its raining here in iowa and is suposed to rain all day tomorrow, i looked at the weather in In and they are saying partly cloudy fri-sun. sure hate to drive the truck in the rain:mad: but i will, im also missing out on the first weekend of mushroom hunting (morals) anyway karen and i cant wait to meet all of you and see your trucks:rock:
 
mapquest says 473.48 miles from here, (iowa) i figure $200.00 for fuel(both ways), at $3.00/15mpg, giving its highway 95% of the time. anyone else driving in from a distance? lets see who is going to put on the most miles!!:rock:
 
Any women goting to the GTG?

I am going with Devildog02 to the GTG this weekend and I can't wait. I am so excited!!!:elefant: And this is the second time I am typing this because my peice of :toilet: -computer hates me and likes to freeze...grrrrrrr :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Anyway, just wondering if any women from here were going to Evansville this weekend? I think I might need some other women just for the sanity...O-and to help change the curtains.:aetsch:
 
418 for me...but if nycstev comes...he will be the long and tall one there!
 
I have a 1612 mile R/T but I have to go to Chicago on the way out..
I think Steve still has me beat though..lol
 
I am just under 500 one way. We are going to have a blast.

We will be leaving out friday morning, and should be ther either late afternoon, or early evening.

It has been a real thrash to get ready to go, I took my truck in for a front end alignment, and found out the airconditioning compressor clutch is going bad, so they special ordered one and are installing it tomorrow.

I will be there one way or another, Evansville will NEVER bethe same again.:D

You guy's are going to have a blast. Safe travel's everyone, shoot lot's of pic's, be safe, and have a great time meeting everyone.
Once you make a few gtg's this place has a bit more "meaning" when you visit it (IMHO) that's for sure.
Congra'ts Gary for hosting the GTG... looks like a good turnout:rock: I certainly hope to see you and the Rachael at the Nat's again this year?:dontknow:

(My)Rachel is coming with me, and I think Eddie is bringing a hottie with him. I'm not sure if Stinker's Boss is joining us for the weekend. I'll bet she could use a weekend off though. LMAO I think there are a few others bringing their better-halves.

Apparently there are a bunch of great antique stores in Evansville. I'm sure a caravan will head out to those.

I can't believe no one wants to go see John-Michael Liles' birthplace. :)


Bill- do you have an ETA for Columbus or Cinci? We're trying to leave here at about 3PM on Friday. I'll PM you my cell.

I hope to be leaving Chicago on Friday afternoon,around 2. That should put me in Evansville around 8 depending on traffic.. Will you be in the area around then?..it would be great to cruise down there with you Roy..
Is there any thought as to what everyone is doing Friday night, and how us late arrivers can get in touch with the guys who get there earlier?
 
I think I am going to try to go through Chicago just before lunch to avoid traffic. So I will get the Evansville earlier.

I need to get there in time to take a nap if we are going to GTG Friday evening...;) :D

Staying at the Super 8 and is there anything planned for Saturday
afternoon?
